I have loved my rickety old Tangle Teezer for a good couple of years now - I find nothing as effective as it for brushing out backcombing and knots from my hair. But here's the catch. I tend to de-tangle my hair when I jump in the bath or shower. I tend to then brush it to distribute conditioner and/or masks. Of course, the original Tangle Teezer wasn't made for this, and lo and behold, it deteriorated. Enter Aqua Splash.
This wonderful little brush has a wholly open middle section, which allows the water to drain easily, preserving the life of the Tangle Teezer. It works just as well as the original, plus it stands up by itself to aid the draining action. The bristles are brilliant for my de-backcombing and conditioning purposes, and is a rather genius little invention.
